Curriculum violence is the “deliberate manipulation of academic programming which compromises the intellectual or psychological well-being of leaders,” according to Ighodaro & Wiggan. At ImpactEd Consulting, we help teachers analyze their current curriculum and identify the stories patterns, and units that have aspects of racial trauma that adversely affect students. We help schools and teachers find opportunities to promote curriculum vibrancy while still meeting district standards.
