Curriculum violence is the “deliberate manipulation of academic programming which compromises the intellectual or psychological well-being of leaders,” according to Ighodaro & Wiggan. 12 weeks

The ImpactED teacher will learn the strategies and best practices it requires to effectively teach African-American/Ethnic Studies authentically using a six-part framework. The unique process of professional development and coaching encompasses investigating in order to decolonize curriculum, mindset and data affecting student outcomes and community partnerships. Teachers and organizational leaders will participate in personalized training that examines the scope and sequence of curriculum from an anti-racist and culturally responsive lens.
